Going Out of Bounds: Adventures on Quadra Island

Out of Bounds Vancouver Island has been a blast so far! With these hot and sunny summer days, it has been an incredible pleasure showcasing our home to some of the industry's top Affiliates.

So far, we've taken a delightful scenic float plane ride from Victoria up to charming Quadra Island at the edge of Johnstone Strait. It is a charming island known for its culture, outdoor recreation, laid back life style and wild and untouched natural scenery. Quadra Island is just 10 minutes by ferry east of Campbell River. It is definitely a top destination to relax and the ideal base camp for exhilarating outdoor adventures.

On the first day, we went sea kayaking in the pristine inlets of the strait, soaking up the sun and refreshing ocean breeze. After that, we rented motorscooters and scootered around the island on a guided wildlife tour. For some of our Affiliates, this was the first time they'd ever seen bald eagles and huge sea lions let alone seeing it on 10" wheels!

We spent day two in the cockpit of a motorboat for a fishing derby in the salmon capital in the world. Our very own Affiliate Manager, Eve Belanger, caught a 21 pound spring salmon out near Campbell River! We're a force to be reckoned with inside and outside of the office!

Today, we're bringing our group to Vancouver Island's world class alpine resort, Mount Washington, for some downhill mountain biking!

We're glad to see our Affiliates having fun and being as excited as we are. We've got a lot more story to tell, so stay tuned for more updates from Out of Bounds: Vancouver Island! Ciao for now!

Neverblue Hits Europe

Neverblue took Europe by storm in May visiting five countries in just three weeks! This whirlwind tour took Neverblue's own Sam, Eve, Max and Ryan to London, Munich, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Prague. The team finally unpacked their sticker covered suitcases and uploaded the photos here.
The highlight of the trip was exhibiting at a4u Expo Munich. The team enjoyed meeting so many of our clients in person and found the conference sessions to be very informative and relevant to the industry.

And speaking of the industry, the parties also provided the team with some fun new experiences - when was the last time you were at a barn party BBQ with Bavarian Go-Go dancers? Great hospitality, unique vibe and amazing food! Sounds like a recipe for a great trip!

Introducing Out of Bounds: Vancouver Island

Day Three: Does this trip have to end?

Neverblue saved the best for last! Day three was full of experiencing all that Costa Rica has to offer. The Affiliates let loose by ramping up their ATV'ing skills and catching killer waves while surfing through Costa Rica's beautiful Pacific coastline. After an exhilarating morning, the group kicked back at a local beach restaurant which allowed them to reflect on the day while dipping their feet in the sand and watching the waves in front of them. After lunch, we had to check out the famous Playa Conchol, a beach composed of millions of tiny crushed shells. After an invigorating day in the sun, we capped off an amazing event with a delicious steak dinner.

Despite having morning pick up times as early as 2:30AM, many of our Affiliates enjoyed Cervezas well into the last evening.

Day Two in Paradise!

After an amazing first day in Costa Rica, the group was wondering what else the Neverblue team had planned for them. The second day began with an amazing roundtable session where industry veterans and top Affiliates shared ideas, feedback and perspective on the current state of the Affiliate marketing industry. Points of view where discussed and shared on the various promotional methods, countries and verticals that Affiliates are currently working in.

After the business portion of the trip what over, the group headed to the pool for some volleyball, drinks and R&R. After a day of working on their tans the group headed out for a night on the town! The first stop was the very authentic Liberia and the group showed up dressed in their best ‘tacky tourist’ outfits. This included many fashion faux pas such as white socks and sandals, disposable cameras and zinc! The evening was definitely one to remember, which concluded with the group teaching locals how to play beer pong.

Day One in Costa Rica with Neverblue

The contestants of Neverblue’s Ultimate Affiliate Escape are finally celebrating their winnings. All the guests arrived on Sunday February 7th in beautiful Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The winners along with Neverblue Affiliate Manager’s spent the day checking into the beautiful RIU resort and relaxing poolside.

Yesterday the group headed out for a day of wild adventure in the jungle. The day began with a Canopy Tour where the group swung between 11 cables situated in the middle of the jungle. After the team refueled at a local restaurant they headed out for a whitewater rafting adventure of a lifetime. The class 3-5 rapids were definitely an adrenaline rush and the very last class 4 rapid was a 12 foot drop that flipped EVERYONE out of the raft, scary, but memorable!
